Hi, I’m Ainsley Beattie, thanks for coming to my website…
Here is a little bit about me!
I’m originally from White Rock BC, however when I was 6 my parents, brother and I moved to what we lovingly refer to as “The Boonies” (South Surrey) into a house my Grandpa built. This acreage property had all the frogs and trees a kid could ask for. Perfect. My childhood pretty much consisted of trips to our family cabin on Galiano Island, playing loads of soccer, and laughing endlessly with my BFF who is conveniently my cousin. I’m sure there was more to it, but that is the way I remember it anyway!
My first job was at the White Rock Vet, I started when I was 14 and worked there throughout high school. True fact… I actually missed my last day of school for my first day of training at the TD bank. I realized that I was a geek and that I loved banking, so I quickly transitioned into mortgages. I left the bank in 2004 to become an independent licensed mortgage broker.
Then life really started to move… here is the timeline.
In 2005 my brother and I bought the house my grandpa built from my parents.
In 2006 I met the love of my life Timber and my beautiful step daughter Michaela.
Fast forward to 2009 Timber and I got married in Mexico. I love Mexico. I really love Mexico. << seriously.
2010, we had our daughter Hope, 16 months later our son Rhodes made his appearance.
Needless to say, our life is somewhat hectic so I turned to running to keep sane. I ran my first half marathon in the summer of 2014. Did I mention that I love Mexico… I bet I could run there too!
As the Grandview Corners Shopping Centre kept creeping in on The Boonies, we decided to sell the old house and moved into a great neighbourhood in Cloverdale. I have a beautiful home office that I love. It allows my black lab Shadie to lay at my feet while I work.

This previously read “My family and I dream of moving to an acreage in Langley one day soon. I need to hear those frogs again!” Well today is that day!
I am happy to say that we bought our dream property in Langley. 5 acres with a big house and barn, and massive pond full of frogs! Yay! We have totally gutted the house and are loving every moment of the re-build. Life is so good. Also, I have a renewed appreciation for the experience my clients go through and the excitement of buying a home!
